St. Cecilia’s College is an outstanding and vibrant learning community. Our Catholic ethos pervades all aspects of school life, making St. Cecilia’s a focused, caring and happy community in which all of our girls can flourish. We value each member of our community, recognising the dignity and unique nature of each individual. In this way the presence of Christ is celebrated.
We strive for the highest standards of achievement in all that we do. Students and teachers enjoy being part of a genuinely supportive community that encourages high aspirations and seeks to bring out the best in every individual. As a result, our students consistently achieve excellent results.
This year we are delighted that, in this our 50th year, we have achieved our highest results ever at both GCSE and A’ level. 93% of our students achieved 5 or more GCSEs at grades A*- C with an outstanding 69% achieving 5+ GCSE at A*-C including English and Mathematics.
Our students are encouraged to develop independent learning skills that will benefit them when they progress to our thriving sixth form and from there to Further or Higher Education. This year a record breaking 60% of our 6th form students achieved a minimum of 3 A ‘Levels at grades A*-C.
Our girls are excellent ambassadors for the school, at all times, demonstrating enthusiasm for their learning and outstanding behaviour.
