GCSE Music and Level 2 Performance Skills.

A level Performing Arts (Music).

Extra-Curricular Activities

​

  • Orchestra on Monday Lunchtime

  • Choir Tuesdays after school

  • Irish Traditional group on Thursday Lunchtime

  • School of Rock Thursday after school

  • We also offer GCSE support at lunchtimes with composition/ensemble club.

Weekly Instrument Lessons

​

Piano, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass, drums, singing, ukulele, woodwind, brass and strings.

Music Department Information

​

  • Our choir participate in the Derry Feis and Choral festival every year.

  • We host “The Green Lounge Live” event in school every winter to showcase budding talent in the school.

  • Our school bands perform at the Jazz Festival every year.

  • We regularly collaborate with the Gasyard Feile with productions such as “A Green Hill Far Away” and “The Equinox Project”.

  • Our ukulele and guitar pupils take part in a community busking event every year to raise money for charities such as Autism NI and The Foyle Hospice.

  • We also visit Creggan Day Centre to provide entertainment to the residents.
