Pathway Opportunity Programme

Four St Cecilia’s students recently completed the Queen’s University Pathway Opportunity Programme. Hannah Breslin and Megan Hegarty both completed the Food, Microbiology and Environment programme and Kayleigh Edgar and Leah McLaughlin completed the Law programme.

A huge congratulations to all four students, we are very proud of them!

The PATHWAY programme offers an alternative entry route to Queen's University Belfast. The University recognises that some groups are under-represented amongst its student body and seeks to increase the number of applications and undergraduate students from these sectors. If a young person is nominated for this programme, it is because their school has identified them as having great potential.

If your child is interested in the PATHWAY programme they should complete an online application form at www.qub.ac.uk/wpu . Applications for the 2018 programme will close on 6 December 2017.

The PATHWAY programme is offered free of charge to all participants with transportation provided to and from all of the main events.
