Excellence in ICT - Post Primary Winner

St. Cecilia’s College has been announced as winner of the post-primary classification in the Capita Managed IT Solutions and C2k annual NI Schools ‘ICT Excellence Awards’ with a prize fund of £2,500 to spend on ICT equipment from Capita.
The awards are for schools that have used technology to transform their educational experience and improve the engagement, achievements and motivation of staff and students. The judging panel consisted of representatives from Capita, C2k, the Education Authority and an independent education consultant.
Steve Moss, Educational Consultant and Chair of the EN(ni) Innovation Forum, and who has judged the awards for 3 years, said: “It is an honour to take part in the awards as a judge. This year, like previous years, highlighted to me how impressive NI schools are in using technology to impact teaching and learning. In St. Cecilia’s College I was impressed by how their technology strategy is embedded throughout the school and extended so every staff member is an IT specialist.”
St Cecilia’s are proud of how we use technology across the school to enhance student learning experiences and we are delighted to be recognised as leading the way in the post primary sector in NI.
